Lee Gardner - President &
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Gardner
has led ECO Oxygen Technologies, LLC since its
commercial launch in 2003. He is a veteran of several
entrepreneurial start-ups and new ventures, most
recently as Director of Strategic Events for IMS Corp.,
a worldwide leader in motor sports entertainment, where
he headed business units developed in collaboration with
Walt Disney World, NASCAR, General Motors and PGA TOUR.
Prior experience includes formation of Triton
Industries, which went from start-up to a 10% market
share, to develop, manufacture and market environmental
dust control equipment for surface mining and coal fired
power plant applications. Other leadership positions
include publishing, consulting, and community
development. Mr. Gardner holds a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration from the University of Denver.
David Haeberle -
Chief Financial
Officer & Treasurer
Mr. Haeberle
leads Command Equity Group, LLC, an Indiana based $10
million private equity firm which he co-founded in 1998,
and is an Executive Vice President & CFO of Envisage
Technologies Corporation, a software development firm
that is a portfolio company of Commend Equity Group. Mr.
Haeberle holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant
Professor of Finance with the Kelley School of Business
at Indiana University. His previous operating
experiences include Chief Financial Officer of Ecomed,
Inc., a medical waste treatment device developer,
manufacturer and marketer and Division Controller for
MiniScribe Corporation, a designer, manufacturer, and
marketer of computer disk drives. Mr. Haeberle holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business, a Master's in
Business Administration, and Jurisprudence Doctorate,
all from Indiana University.
Inken Mello - Sales and
Design Engineer
Ms. Mello has
worked in the field of Biological Odor Control for the
wastewater industry since 2000. Throughout her career
she has introduced a new line of passive biofilters from
Germany to the US market. She has also served as a
Regional Sales Manager for a major US and Canadian
Biofilter Company. Ms. Mello has worked closely with
private and municipal clients, consulting engineering
firms and construction contractors to pin-point and
solve various odor problems in the collection system and
at the plant level in the most cost-effective way. Ms.
Mello holds a Master's Degree in Agricultural /
Environmental Engineering from the University of Munich,
Germany.
David
Clidence - Design
and Project Engineer
Mr. Clidence has been a key
member of the technical development team since 2000,
when the company demonstrated its first force main
prototype. His experience includes working with plant
operators, consulting engineers, government agencies,
component suppliers and construction subcontractors to
design, produce and install ECO2 SuperOxygenation
systems to meet owner performance expectations. In
addition, David supports sales, marketing and
promotional programs through presentations to prospects
and professional conferences. He was recently elected by
peers to the Air Quality Committee of the Water
Environment Federation, the national trade organization
for water quality professionals. Mr. Clidence holds a
Bachelor of Science in Civil / Environmental Engineering
from Purdue University.
Robert Parrin - Hydraulics Technical Advisor
Mr. Parrin is
a thermodynamic engineer and hydraulics specialist with
over 25 years in senior management positions with
Sterling Fluid Systems, in its rotating equipment and
engineered systems businesses under the trade names
Peerless Pump, LaBour, SIHI Pump, Hayward Tyler and
Berkefeld. Past assignments have included division
management in the USA, Canada, and Mexico as well as
group management of Latin America and corporate Business
Development. Mr. Parrin is an officer and board member
of the Hydraulic Institute, the North American pump
industry's standards writing trade organization, and is
immediate past President and current Chairman of the
Board. In addition he serves at Purdue University as a
board member for Herrick labs, Graduate School of
Mechanical Engineering and on the Industry Advisory
Council for the University's Technical Assistance
Program. Mr. Parrin holds a Masters Degree in Management
from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at
Northwestern University and a B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering from Purdue University.
Karen Wigand - Marketing Manager
Ms. Wigand has
30 years experience in the water and wastewater industry
ranging from municipal plant operations to executive
management of a water utility. Her expertise includes
management of facilities from 1 mgd to advanced
treatment facilities over 400 mgd. In the past several
years her focus has been on assessment of quality
control programs, development of operational standards
and implementation of performance management programs.
Ms. Wigand has served as Western Region Manager for
United Water Services, Vice President of Quality Control
and Vice President of Performance Management for United
Water Resources. She recently started Wigand Management
Services with a focus on marketing and market research
in the water industry. Ms. Wigand holds an AS in Water
Technology.
